Rich Americans Ditch Home Ownership For Renting:

How would you spend $11,000/mo?

The slot machine investment vehicle approach with real estate has certainly played a large role in our current economic crisis.  It’s time to get back to basics as to the why of owning a home since the days of double digit appreciation are long gone which is what perhaps some people are still hoping for….

Personally & not necessarily in this order, I’ll take my small mortgage interest deduction, pride of ownership & not having to check in with a landlord to personalize my living space over renting.

As with most choices, there are pros & cons with renting vs. owning.

If you had $11,000/mo would you spend it on renting, a mortgage, starting up a business or…..?
