How to save a few trees & time on your next real estate purchase or sale with Docusign (e-signature)!
I never tire of the ease in using Docusign for my clients real estate transactions. I can’t imagine having to inconvenience clients by asking them to ink sign the sometimes 400+ pages of documents (particularly with condos) that can be in a disclosure package let alone the waste of paper!
As long as one is on email one can esign. Clients love the ease of e-signing documents online (which we either review prior to their signing or during their esigning), on their time frame where ever in the world they may happen to be living, working or vacationing.
I started working with Docusign about 3 years ago when a handful of clients lived out of the area or in other states creating tough logistics for getting sigs without the cumbersome use of a fax or email>print docs>re-fax back of docs.
For those agents who have not made the switch over to paperless real estate transactions via Winforms & e-signature (unfortunately there are not that many), please embrace this great, easy to use, eco-friendly & affordable technology! Your clients will love you for it & so will the other agent who is working the other side of the transaction, IE: me!
Buyers and sellers, don’t be shy about asking your agent to sign up for this technology! At an incredibly reasonable ~$12/mo there is no reason why your agent should not be using Docusign not to mention the time saved in not having to go back & forth for sigs & the cost/waste in printing docs & gas for travel time.
Lastly, if docs are kept in an electronic platform, they are SO legible not to mention securely stored since paper files aren’t being transported about.
